Simone Poulsen is the Strategic Delivery Manager for Research and Specialised Data Systems in Digital Solutions at Griffith University. In this role, Simone manages the strategic project team implementing projects to support Griffith researchers and data collection and dissemination. Previous to this role, Simone was the Cybersecurity Program Manager for Griffith, rolling out projects to improve the security maturity of the University.

As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, member of ACODE (Australasian Council on Open, Distance and e-Learning) and Ascilite (Australasian Society for Computers in Learning and Tertiary Education), AISA (Australian Information Security Association), and AHECS (Australian Higher Education Cybersecurity Service), Simone is always learning, always sharing lessons learnt and happy to discuss what’s new and out there. Simone can also be counted on to bring baked goods to a team meeting, share amazing recipes and always somehow steer the conversation towards food.
