University of Wollongong Campus Experiential Tour

Come and experience the University of Wollongong, as we tour the Early Start Discovery Space or Library.

Early Start is a world leading collaborative initiative that brings together academic research, tertiary education programs and community engagement through an exciting public interface. The Early Start Discovery Space is Australia’s only dedicated children’s museum, and this tour will provide the opportunity to explore first-hand the specially developed interactive experiences including climbing aboard the Antarctic research vessel, being digested at the Tummy Tour or taking some trolleys for a spin at the Market Place.

Recent updates to UOW Library include refreshed and refurbished informal learning spaces for students, as well as revolutionary renovations to staff office areas. Tour both spaces to hear first-hand the underpinning design principles, which will include a visit to the ground floor MakerSpace, a place where students and staff can explore their creativity and test their skills with high-end tools and equipment. Both redesigns provide a range of formal and informal spaces to work and collaborate, and are significantly impacting on our culture.
