CIO, Auckland University of Technology (Chair)
Liz represents the Auckland University of Technology as co-host of THETA 2017, and Chairs the THETA 2017 Organising Committee. This role has synergy with her role as CIO of AUT. Both roles focus on contributing to strategic direction, creating and executing strategy, building collaborative relationships and ensuring delivery of excellent services and value.
Liz studied Computer Science at the University of Westminster in London, and holds an MBA (Human Resources Management), Distinction from AUT. She has worked in the IT industry for more than 30 years, in New Zealand, the US, UK and Europe, in a variety of roles in commercial and not for profit organisations.
