Dave Maclaurin has over 20 years enterprise IT experience including roles in systems analysis, design and development, database administration, and IT management & governance. Dave’s current team of 17 are responsible for the architecture, procurement and implementation all ITS compute and storage solutions running in the University’s data centres, and their integration with external cloud services. Some of Dave’s team work within the national NeSI service delivery teams.
Dave’s areas of expertise include: object oriented languages and service object architectures, project management, data warehousing, research data management, virtualization and VDI, enterprise IT architectures, IT infrastructure sizing / tuning & troubleshooting, networking, and solutions design to support research.
